What Raza AI Counselor does
Raza is a conversational assistant that helps you explore universities and courses, understand entry requirements, shortlist programmes that fit your profile, and move through the application steps. It answers questions in plain English and keeps track of your conversation so you don't have to repeat yourself.
How AI assists course discovery
When you search or chat, Raza filters our existing university and course catalogue using the details you provide (such as subject, degree level, delivery type and country). It surfaces courses from that catalogue — it does not invent universities, courses, fees or deadlines.
How eligibility guidance is generated
Eligibility guidance combines the information you share (qualifications, nationality, English proficiency) with the admission and entry criteria provided by the universities. Raza explains how those criteria apply to your situation. This is informational guidance to help you prepare — it is not an admission or visa decision.
The role of university-provided information
Entry requirements, course details and availability come from the universities and our catalogue records. Where information is missing, Raza will tell you rather than guess, and may direct you to verify details directly.
Limitations & potential inaccuracies
- AI can occasionally be incomplete or out of date; always confirm critical details before acting.
- Guidance depends on the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Immigration and visa rules change and vary by nationality — Raza will point you to official sources or human review when a question falls outside confirmed information.
Human review & escalation
Our admissions team reviews applications and can step in at any point. If Raza isn't confident, or your situation needs manual verification, it will route you to a human counsellor instead of making an unsupported decision.
How your data is handled
Your conversations and the documents you upload are used to provide the service and process your applications. Full details — including what we collect, how long we keep it, and your rights — are in our Privacy Policy.
AI guidance vs official decisions
Guidance from Raza is not a substitute for legal, financial or immigration advice. Admission offers, scholarship awards and visa outcomes are decided by the relevant universities and government authorities — not by StudyPortal.ai or Raza.
Voice notes
You can speak to Raza in your own language. Your voice note is converted to text automatically, the recording is not stored, and Raza replies in text. Speech recognition is not perfect — you can always re-record or type your message instead.
