StudyPortal.ai is operated by Cloud Lab Technologies. References to "we", "our", and "us" refer to the operating company.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: your name, email, phone number, country of residence.
- Application data: documents, transcripts, personal statements, English test results.
- Usage data: pages visited, AI conversations, clicks, and device info — used to improve the service.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies for product improvement.
3. How we use it
- To deliver the AI counselor experience and shortlist programs for you.
- To process and submit applications to partner universities.
- To keep you informed about your application status, deadlines, and offers.
- To improve our AI models — never with personally identifiable information attached.
4. Who we share it with
We share your application data only with the universities you choose to apply to, and with sub-processors that we use to deliver the service (email/SMS providers, cloud hosting, AI providers). We never sell your data.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@studyportal.ai. We comply with GDPR and UK Data Protection Act 2018.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is limited to staff who need it, MFA-protected, and audited.
7. Voice notes
If you send a voice note to Raza, the audio is transcribed to text and then discarded — we do not store the recording. Only the resulting text transcript is kept as part of your chat history. Transcription is performed by a secure speech-to-text service.

If we make material changes, we'll email you and update the "Last updated" date above.
